... and the Gold Award for Excellence this year goes to ...

Us!!!! 

For many years we were graded at 4 Stars "Highly Commended" with no-one really knowing quite what that meant.  Happily in 2012 they've changed the name of their merit award scheme and we are now the proud holders of a 4 Gold Stars Award for Quality of Accommodation and Customer Service!

This AA Gold Star award recognises the very best guest accommodation compared to other establishments within the same 4 Star banding and at last the AA have a merit award scheme that everyone can understand.
